
Tammy Roehrs, P.T., M.A., N.C.S. Physical Therapist
Tammy Roehrs graduated in 1990 with Highest Distinction from the University of Nebraska Medical Center's physical therapy program, and completed her Masters degree in Kinesiology at the University of Minnesota in 1996. She was adult NDT trained in 1992, earned her neurology clinical specialty (NCS) certification through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) initially in 2002, and was re-certified by ABPTS in 2010. Tammy has served as an adjunct faculty member in the physical therapy program at the College of Saint Catherine in Minneapolis (1994-96), and as an Assistant Professor in the University of Nebraska Medical Center’s physical therapy program teaching the neuromuscular curriculum (1996-2006) and then serving as the Director of Clinical Education (2006-2011).
Tammy has been a member of the Can Do MS medical staff (a wellness program for individuals with MS) since 1992. She has been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) since 1988, serving on state committees for both the Minnesota and Nebraska chapters, and on national committees for the Neurology Section of the APTA. Tammy has served as a member of Professional Advisory Committee for the Midlands Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society since 1998.
